Today’s SpertLab Meeting featured a presentation by Henrique Lopes, researcher at CIPER and SpertLab, entitled “Toward a Behavioral Dynamics Model of Decision-Making in Judo.”
During the session, Henrique presented his work on developing a mathematical model of decision-making in judo, focusing on the Seoi Nage throwing technique.
Drawing on an ecological dynamics perspective, the presentation explored how mathematical modeling can help describe the interactions between athletes and the dynamics underlying the emergence of throwing actions in combat.
