This study examined how a youth football team’s tactics and running performance changed in advantage versus disadvantage scenarios with and without the ball. The team used positional attack and mixed defense when disadvantaged, and direct attack and zone defense when advantaged, covering more ground and accelerating more with the ball when at a disadvantage. These insights reveal how tactical and physical strategies adapt based on game context.
